Why Us?

​

As a creative couple with a combined 40 years of experience in design-related fields including store, set, and interior design as well as construction, Steve and I really love using our skills and talents to improve spaces.  Having lived in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York for the better part of 20 years, we did that a lot for other people, but weren't quite in the financial position to improve a home of our own.  It was only in the last few years that we saved enough money to finally buy a house in California and our tiny budget/big dreams, though not mathematically pleasant, proved to be highly valuable in other ways.

Shortly after we finished fixing up our house in the Spring of 2021, we decided to move to North Carolina.  Putting our house on the market that quickly would be the real test of our skills and 371 days after buying the house, we nearly doubled our investment.  We found that we have a knack for making improvements that don't break the bank, but yield​ big payoffs.

 

The best part is that we love doing it so much that we want to do it for other people too.

 

Since moving to NC, we have already helped multiple homeowners with their punchlist projects!
